It'll take one and a half hours to reach there from Tezpur (50km). This national park had been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1985) and is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, and many mammals including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and various types of birds. Moreover, there are now approx 2400 rhinos here as per the census 2018 by the Forest Department of Assam Government, so there is a high chance to witness this amazing creature!
