Getting to Agatti
Agatti is the base of this Lakshadweep 3 nights 4 days package, as it has the only airport in Lakshadweep. The easy way to reach Lakshadweep for a quick getaway is by flying. Ships will take longer and will not work for a 3 night plan.
Flights from Kochi
Kochi has the maximum number of flights to the islands. The flight from Kochi to Agatti is operated by IndiGo, Alliance Air and Fly91 and takes around one and a half hours.
The straight distance from Agatti to Kochi is 470 km. All airlines do not operate on a daily basis; tell us your travel dates and we will check it out for you before charging.
Flights from Goa
The current schedule has Fly91 operating from Mopa airport, Goa (Manohar International, code GOX) to Agatti daily. The flight leaves early in the morning.
If you are not in Goa, you have to reach Goa the day before. There are two airports in Goa, so please ensure that your onward ticket is for Mopa (GOX), and not Dabolim (GOI).
From Other Cities
There is no direct flight from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata or Bengaluru to Agatti. You change planes once, mostly in Kochi. Where possible, book your connecting flight on the same ticket. This can offer better protection if a delay affects your connection.

Three Things to Know About Agatti Flights
- Only small planes: Agatti has a short runway where only propeller planes are allowed.
- Less baggage: These planes allow less luggage than a normal flight. Be sure to read the limit on the ticket before packing.
- A few daily flights: canceling a flight means you wait for a day, not an hour. Don't schedule anything important on the day after your flight home.
Four Days on Agatti
The following is the day-by-day schedule for Lakshadweep itinerary 4 day trips. The middle two days are your full time on the island, as the flights arrive late in the morning and depart late in the morning.
Our staff will pick you up from Agatti Airport with a welcome drink and drive you to your resort. Following a briefing and lunch, we go out in the late afternoon to view the island:

In the late afternoon, a glass bottom boat takes you to Kalpitti, a tiny island off of Agatti where no one lives. Look down at the coral on the way, take a walk on the beach and stay for the sunset.

A private boat takes your group out to look for dolphins in the open sea, then goes around the reef so you can snorkel straight from the boat. Dolphins are wild and it is never guaranteed that you will see one, but the boat goes out either way.

Everyone Needs a Permit
All visitors must have an entry permit to the Lakshadweep, including Indians. We apply for yours as part of the Lakshadweep 3 nights 4 days package.
The Rules Got Easier in April 2026
The local sponsor requirement on the islands and the police clearance certificate have been removed from the requirements from 29 April 2026. The Lakshadweep police now conduct the checks once you apply. There are still many websites that display the old rules.

The permit needs at least 14 days. Send your papers as early as possible for December, New Year and holiday dates.
Your Permit Names Your Islands
The permit specifies which islands you will visit and you do not get to add an island once you arrive on it. This package covers Agatti, with the boat trip to Kalpitti. If you would like to book a night at Bangaram, please let us know before we book it.
What to Send Us
Send a copy of a government Photo ID (Aadhaar or Passport) and a Passport size photo for each traveller. Foreign nationals are welcome to visit some island destinations only, and will have extended checks, so tell us your nationality when you first get in touch.

The Season
Your visit to Lakshadweep should be scheduled for 4 days from October until mid-May. The best time to travel would be from December to March when the sea is still and the water is clear. The monsoon rains happen between mid-May and September.
Why the Monsoon Matters on This Trip
During the monsoon period, there would be flight services, but the sea would be turbulent, and boat tours could get canceled. Agatti and the Islands Nearby
Agatti
A long narrow coral island with a quiet shallow lagoon on one side. Snorkelling and kayaking are easy here because of that shallow water, and an Agatti island package is an excellent choice for a short trip.
Kalpitti
A tiny, uninhabited island near Agatti. Kalpitti can be visited on day 02 using a glass-bottom boat ride for coral and sunset viewing.
Bangaram
It is a quiet island resort (not part of this package). Extra night accommodation can be arranged if planned prior to the filing of a permit.
Islands This Package Does Not Cover
This Lakshadweep 3 nights 4 days package does not include the following islands: Kavaratti, Thinnakara, Kadmat, Kalpeni and Minicoy. Each of these islands needs a special permit and a travel plan and will not fit within the 3 days.
Food, Culture and Island Rules
Food
Meals are mostly seafood, with fish, coconut and rice. Non-veg food is readily available and most of the food is halal. Vegetarian and Jain meals can be prepared, but the food arrives by boat, so please inform us when you make your booking if anyone requires it or has an allergy.
Alcohol
Lakshadweep was dry for many years. A new policy on 5 June 2026 has made alcohol legal in Lakshadweep, provided that you have a license. Please ask us about this. Don't bring your own.
How to Behave
Agatti has a small population, with the majority Muslim. Dress modestly off the beach. Ask permission before taking photographs of others. Do not touch or stand on coral, or take shells or coral from the beach.

Cash
There aren't many ATMs on Agatti and sometimes cards don't work. Bring sufficient cash from the mainland.
Phone and Internet
Signal is weaker and slower than on the mainland. Do not plan to work from the island.

- Swimwear in your hand bag, so you can get into the water on Day 01 if you like.
- Water shoes for walking into the lagoon.
- A dry bag for your phone on boat days.
- A hat, a rash guard and strong sunscreen. There is little shade on the beach.
