It is the additional night that makes this trip special. This plan provides three days on the island rather than two, as flight days consume a large portion of both Day 01 and Day 05.

Flying to Agatti
Agatti has the only airport in Lakshadweep. All flights to the islands touch down here and this is the base of the whole Lakshadweep 4 nights 5 days package with no boat transfer upon landing.

Book in the Right Order
Do not purchase non-refundable flights before you get the permit. Provide us your documents first, and once we get the permit, you can book your flights without any problem.
Pack for a Small Plane
Only propeller airplanes can land in Agatti’s airport due to its small runway, and they hold less luggage compared to a regular airplane. Verify baggage allowance on ticket and pack soft luggage.
Lakshadweep Itinerary 5 Days: What Each Day Holds
Two days are very busy, one is yours, and the last one is dolphin day. This is how this trip works:
We greet you at the airport with a welcome drink. After a short talk about the resort and the days ahead, you check in and sit down to lunch.
In the late afternoon, we take you around the island. Visitors will have a chance to see the museum, western and eastern jetties, Lagoon Beach, fish hatchery and Antham Beach. It is a soothing first glimpse into Agatti's way of life.

Morning is the time for the water. Kayaking and snorkelling are free in the lagoon. The island charges for scuba diving and banana boat rides.
Later, a private glass bottom boat will take you to Kalpitti, a tiny island inhabited by no one. See the coral as it passes under the boat, go for a stroll on the empty beach and wait for the setting sun.

There is nothing planned for you today. Some ideas:
- Back in the lagoon: The free kayaks and snorkel gear are there again.
- Ride around the island: We can arrange a two-wheeler if required.

- Do nothing at all: A book, a hammock and the sea.

The private boat takes you and your group out in search of dolphins. As the boat returns back, it goes around the reef, and you snorkel right from the deck. Dolphins are a wild species; you might or might not spot them, but the trip is worth it regardless.
After lunch, enjoy free time till your last swim of the day.

Why Your Quote May Be Different
Not all groups will receive the same Lakshadweep cost for 5 days. These are the four things that will change it:
- How many of you travel: The boats and transfers are the same price for two people as they are for four, making the price per person higher for smaller groups.
- When you go: December, New Year and school holidays are the busiest and the dearest. Agatti has limited rooms available, so reserve early for these dates.
- Which room you pick: The price is for an A/C Deluxe or Super Deluxe room. Request a better room and we will give the quote.
- What you add: Scuba diving, additional rides and free-day extras are paid for separately.
Flights Are Separate
The Lakshadweep 4 nights 5 days package price does not include flight fares to Agatti, as these can vary significantly based on the date. If you want, we can provide a quotation for your flights with the trip. Inquire if taxes are going to be part of your quote as well for final clarity.

Ask About These Before You Pay
Free-day extras such as a candle light dinner or a campfire, and any scuba diving, are paid on the island. Ask us for a written list of these costs before you confirm.
Your Entry Permit
How It Works
- You send us a copy of a government photo ID for each traveller, such as Aadhaar or a passport, plus a passport-size photo.
- We apply for your permit at least 14 days before you travel.
- The Lakshadweep police check the details after the application goes in.
- Once the permit is approved, you can book your flights.
What Changed in 2026
Since 29 April 2026, visitors no longer need a local sponsor or a police clearance certificate. This has made the process much simpler, but many older websites still show the old rules.
Only the Islands on Your Permit
The permit lists the islands you may visit. This Lakshadweep 4 nights 5 days package covers Agatti and the Kalpitti boat trip. You cannot add another island after you arrive, so tell us early if you want one.
Visitors from Abroad
Foreign nationals need a passport and can visit only some islands. Checks take longer, so get in touch well before your dates.

Why the Monsoon Does Not Suit This Plan
Flights still run in the monsoon, but boats and water sports often stop when the sea turns rough. On this Lakshadweep 4 nights 5 days package, Day 02 and Day 04 are both on the water. A cheap monsoon price is not worth much if the best parts of the trip cannot go ahead.
Agatti, Kalpitti and What Lies Beyond
Agatti, Your Base
Agatti is a long, thin coral island with a calm lagoon on one side. You spend all four nights here. The lagoon is shallow, which is why kayaking and snorkelling feel easy even for first-timers.
Kalpitti, the Empty Island
A tiny island near Agatti with nobody living on it. You visit on Day 02 by glass bottom boat.
Islands Outside This Plan
Kavaratti, Bangaram, Thinnakara, Kadmat and Kalpeni are not in this package. Fitting two or three of them into five days means long boat rides and less time in the water. If you want more islands, choose a longer trip and plan them into your permit.
Island Food and Local Ways
What You Will Eat
Fish is at the heart of island cooking, with coconut and rice on most plates. Non-veg food is easy to get and is usually halal. Pork is not served.
Special Diets
Vegetarian and Jain meals can be made, but supplies reach Agatti by boat. Tell us about any diet or allergy when you book, not when you arrive.
Alcohol Rules
Alcohol was banned in Lakshadweep for a long time. Since 5 June 2026, it is allowed under licence. Ask us whether your resort serves it, and do not bring your own.
Dress and Photos
Most people on Agatti are Muslim, and it is a small, close community. Cover up when you walk through the village. Ask before you photograph anyone. Leave coral and shells where you find them.
Packing for Five Days
Money
ATMs are few, and many places do not take cards. Carry the cash you will need for extras before you fly.
Staying Connected
Mobile signal is patchy and data is slow. Let family know you may be hard to reach.

Not for You If
You want nightlife, shopping malls or a busy beach town, or your return date cannot move at all. Flights from Agatti can be cancelled in bad weather.
Booking, Changes and Refunds
Steps to Confirm
- Share your dates, the number of travellers, children's ages and any diet needs.
- Pay 50% of the package to confirm. Super peak dates need full payment.
- Send ID copies and photos for the permit, at least 14 days before travel.
- Pay the balance at least 7 days before check-in.
- Receive your booking email and service voucher.
If Your Plans Change
The more notice you give, the less you lose. Charges are worked out on the total package price:
- 30 days or more before travel: 20%.
- 20 to 29 days before: 40%.
- 10 to 19 days before: 50%.
- Less than 10 days before: 100%.
The Super Peak Rule
Bookings for Christmas and New Year (20 December to 5 January) and the Durga Puja period cannot be refunded once made. If you are travelling then, be sure of your dates.
Getting Money Back
If you booked with us directly, any refund goes to the account you paid from within 7 working days. In special cases, after a full review, we may offer a credit note for a later trip instead. If you booked through an agent, the agent handles your refund.
